MyGeotab, developed in collaboration with Goodyear, is a fleet management solution designed to optimize vehicle performance, improve safety, and enhance operational efficiency. The platform integrates vehicle telematics with Goodyear’s tire performance monitoring, giving fleet managers actionable insights through a centralized interface.

Challenges
- Designing a seamless interface to visualize telematics and tire data in real-time.
- Simplifying the complex data for users to interpret and act upon easily.
- Enhancing fleet management efficiency for diverse roles, including fleet managers, technicians, and drivers.
Process
The design process focused on user-centricity and data visualization:
- Conducted user research and interviews with fleet managers to understand their pain points and requirements.
- Developed interactive prototypes in Figma, refining them based on user feedback and testing.
- Created data visualization models for tire health, vehicle performance, and fuel efficiency.
- Worked closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of telematics and tire monitoring systems.
Key user groups:
- Fleet Managers: Monitored vehicle and tire performance, scheduled maintenance, and optimized routes.
- Technicians: Used the platform to prioritize and address maintenance issues.
- Drivers: Accessed safety alerts and performance metrics for on-the-road improvements.
